Holbrook PreK-12 School, the new consolidated campus for J.F.K. Elementary School and Holbrook Middle High School, was recently certified LEED Gold by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). The certification follows USGBC's rigorous rating system for K–12 facilities, Building Design and Construction (BD+C): Schools, as stipulated by LEED v3.

The Flansburgh-designed Holbrook PreK-12 School achieved the LEED Gold standard through its outstanding performance in seven different categories of LEED credits: sustainable sites, water efficiency, energy & atmosphere, material & resources, indoor environmental quality, innovation, and regional priority credits.
