Flansburgh Wins Outstanding Project Award From Learning by Design
The Learning by Design magazine is the premier source for education design innovation. During the Fall of 2019, The American International School of Zagreb received the Outstanding Project award. AIZ is a combined level school that weaves outdoor and indoor spaces to engage students, promote wellness, and foster an atmosphere where success is achieved through interdependance. Sitting on a site size of 5.9 acres and a building size of 65,000 gsf; multiple courtyards, green roofs, and community space form the heart of the new school.
