Construction Underway for the New Agawam High School
New Grade 9–12 and Early Childhood Center | Agawam, Massachusetts
Flansburgh Architects is pleased to announce that construction is officially underway for the new Agawam High School. Work began over school vacation to minimize disruption for students, with crews establishing the laydown area to prepare the site for full construction. Mayor Johnson of Agawam was present to mark this exciting milestone.

The Town of Agawam, Agawam Public Schools, Leftfield Project Management, the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA), Fontaine Brothers with WT Rich, and Flansburgh Architects are working together to build a new state-of-the-art facility that will serve Pre-K and grades 9–12. This project is designed to promote academic excellence, strengthen community engagement, and support long-term sustainability for future generations.
