Flansburgh Architects Hosts BSA x PIC High School Interns During Annual Firm Crawl
On Friday, July 18, Flansburgh Architects hosted a group of high school interns at its North End studio as part of the annual Firm Crawl organized by the Boston Society of Architecture (BSA) and the Boston Private Industry Council (PIC). The visit was part of the BSA x PIC Architecture/Design High School Internship Program, which places students from Boston Public Schools (grades 10–12), along with one student from Chelsea High School, in six-week paid internships at local architecture firms. This year’s interns had just begun their placements earlier that week.
During the visit, Daithi Blair, Associate, AIA, and Jessica Libby, Architectural Designer, delivered a presentation showcasing Flansburgh Architects’ diverse portfolio of educational and cultural projects. In addition to discussing the firm’s design approach and project work, they shared personal insights into their professional journeys in architecture and engaged students in a thoughtful Q&A session, offering meaningful guidance and inspiration to the next generation of designers.
