Masters Academy International Announces Opening of Innovative Sports-Focused School
Masters Academy International (MAI), a new sports-focused boarding and day school, has announced plans to open its state-of-the-art campus in Stow, Massachusetts, in fall 2026. Serving over 500 students in grades 6–12 and post-graduate programs, MAI will be New England’s first fully integrated sports academy, combining elite athletic training with rigorous college-preparatory academics. The 82-acre campus will repurpose the former BOSE Corporation property and transform the existing 312,000-square-foot building into a comprehensive facility with classrooms, dormitories, dining areas, administrative offices, and athletic training spaces.
Flansburgh Architects is leading the renovation and adaptive reuse of the existing building. Known for innovative educational design work, Flansburgh is bringing decades of expertise to support MAI’s mission of creating a world-class environment for both academic and athletic development. The $83 million project is being developed in collaboration with global education provider Cognita, Scalora Consulting Group, and a team of leading industry experts.
