Rep. Trahan Tours the Kerouac Center
Development continues on the Jack Kerouac Museum and Performance Center at the St. Jean Baptiste Church in Lowell, which recently hosted a site visit from U.S. Rep. Lori Trahan. Supported by the Kerouac Estate and country singer Zach Bryan, who purchased the property and Kerouac’s original manuscripts, the project focuses on historical preservation and updated functionality. Current plans include a new addition designed to provide ADA accessibility and a secure environment to display the 120-foot "On the Road" scroll. The center aims to revitalize the neighborhood and honor the author's legacy in his childhood church.
