Wilbraham & Monson Academy Tops Off New Dining Commons
We are pleased to announce a significant project milestone: the final structural beam has been set on the renovation and addition of the historic Wilbraham & Monson Academy (WMA) Chapel, which is being transformed into a state-of-the-art Dining Commons. The moment was celebrated by the WMA community in a recent "topping off" ceremony.
This transformation will connect the Chapel's historic integrity with the needs of a modern facility. During the renovation process, the original vaulted ceiling of the Chapel has been dramatically revealed, restoring the space's sense of height and grandeur. Further work will involve carefully uncovering and restoring the original stained-glass windows, allowing light to stream into the new Commons as it did generations ago.
